We are looking to employ an enthusiastic, adaptable and hardworking person to join our well organised Practice.

We are a large, friendly practice which provides patient care from Broughty Ferry Health Centre. Previous experience of working within primary care would be desirable although not essential as full training will be given to the successful candidate.

The successful candidate should have:

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and a pleasant and helpful manner
• Experience in Chronic Disease Management CHD Respiratory Diabetes
• Experience in Cervical Smear taking desirable
• Treatment of minor ailments involving triage would be advantageous
• Nurse Prescribing would be an advantage
• Good computer skills with a willingness to learn the IT systems within the practice
• Good organisational skills
• The ability to work as part of a team and also independently
• The ability to be able to work flexibly in order to meet the needs of the practice. This includes assisting with extended hours rota and overtime as required, at times of staff absence.
• The ability to enjoy assisting members of the public and providing the highest quality of care to our patients
• Be professional in their approach at all times
• The ability to have an understanding of patient confidentiality

Hours:

24-26 hours per week (tbc) Monday, Tuesday & Friday

Salary: (depending on previous experience)
