Position:
Lead Research Nurse in the Phase I/Education team at Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility (CRF). The role involves direct oversight of Phase I clinical trials and the education needs of nursing and clinical teams across the Edinburgh CRF. The post‑holder will be expected to move between clinical sites as service needs dictate.

• Direct oversight of Phase I clinical trials.
• Manage Phase I education needs of nursing and clinical teams.
• Move between clinical sites as required.

• Strong clinical research background, including conducting and managing Phase I trials.
• Experience in teaching and mentorship.
• People and resource management within a clinical research environment.
• Working knowledge of Research Governance and regulatory inspection, including understanding of MHRA Phase I Accreditation.
• Post holder must have a PVG Scheme membership or obtain it prior to appointment.

Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility – purpose built adult and paediatric clinical facilities at three hospital sites in Edinburgh.
