About the RoleOpen Book is looking for a new Operations Manager to join their team. You will oversee the delivery of Open Book’s community programme, supporting their 70+ shared reading and creative writing groups including their Festival Visits Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate team in a charity that has championed supporting individuals in a wide range of community settings for over 12 years.
Responsibilities- Oversee delivery of community programme.
- Support 70+ shared reading and creative writing groups.
- Coordinate the Festival Visits Programme.
- Highly organised with a passion for promoting community engagement.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Confidence in working with partners, organisations and volunteers.
- At least three years of administrative experience, ideally within an arts and/or community setting.
- Hours: four days a week (0.8 FTE)
- Location: in-person at Open Book’s Edinburgh based office.
