Communications & Marketing Officer

Harbour Homes is Leith and north Edinburgh’s biggest social landlord, providing thousands of affordable homes from Portobello to Granton and everywhere in between. We’vebeen contributing to the regeneration of local areas since 1975, and it’s our mission to: ‘make a positive impact on people’s lives from our home in Leith by providing affordable homes and services, and helping to support resilient communities.’

Harbour Homes is part of Harbour which also includes its subsidiaries Harbour Lettings, Harbour Multi-Trades and Harbour Connections.

This role is ideal for someone who loves Leith and north Edinburgh as much as we do, and who has a strong track record of developing effective multi-channel communications and marketing campaigns.

You will be working with colleagues across Harbour to position our brand, create engaging content and deliver important messages to our stakeholders in the local community. In this interesting and varied role, you will be joining us following a period of transition as we roll out our new organisational structure. You will be playing a key role in developing our internal communications strategy to support our new ways of working.

• You have 2-3 years’ experience in a communications and/or marketing role
• You are educated to Degree level or equivalent (SCQF Level
  9) in communications,marketingor a related discipline
• You are a confident communicator who can foster good working relationships
• You have excellentorganisationalskills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once

A level 1 disclosure check is required. This role is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
