Permanent, Full Time, 34.5 hours per week

Working hours:

9am‑5pm Monday‑Thursday, 9am‑4:30pm Friday

Salary: £54,627.30 per annum plus benefits.

Due to the retirement of the current Strategic Development Director and restructuring of the Assets team, Viewpoint Housing Association seeks an experienced and innovative manager to advance our net‑zero roadmap. The Strategic Development Manager will report directly to the Director of Assets and be a member of the Leadership Team, contributing to strategic direction, governance and leadership of the Association.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessment and appraisal of proposed projects
• Reporting on developments and project progress
• Performance monitoring and analysis
• Leading strategic development plans and presenting complex data to stakeholders
• Influencing external funders to support traditional approaches for fostering innovation

• Strong background in assets and energy management with a passion for sustainability.

• Proven depth and breadth of functional expertise, strong personal ownership, excellent collaboration and communication skills.

• Ability to influence and inspire others, build relationships with stakeholders, and lead innovative initiatives.
