Cleaning Operative

Location: Edinburgh and surrounding areas

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Are you a reliable and experienced Cleaning Operative based in Edinburgh? We are currently recruiting for cleaning roles across care homes, sheltered housing, and community centres in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. If you take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, this role could be ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain various settings, including residential care and communal areas.
• Ensure hygiene and sanitation standards are met at all times.
• Use cleaning products, equipment, and materials safely and effectively. Follow COSHH and health & safety regulations.
• Restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Record completed tasks and report any issues promptly.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in professional cleaning (Care home, residential, or commercial settings preferred).
• Understanding of infection control and cleaning best practices.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A current PVG or willingness to gain one.
