About The Role

• Cleaning and preparing equipment
• Checking and storing off‑hired equipment
• Maintaining a clean and safe yard, workshop and storage areas
• Liaising with customers on a day‑to‑day basis when loading and unloading jobs

To succeed as a Yard Operative you will bring the following skill‑set and behaviours:

• Physical fitness required to undertake daily tasks
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Organised approach and ability to complete job duties on time
• Good customer service skills
• A flexible approach and willingness to undertake relevant training and development
• A commitment to health and safety awareness, knowledge of PPE requirements and COSHH is an advantage
