We are currently looking to recruit an experienced paralegal in our well-established residential conveyancing team.

Responsibilities

The role will involve:

  • Dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing including:
  • Taking a client’s instructions
  • Advising clients on legal issues relating to their case
  • Drafting documents, letters and contracts tailored to the client’s individual needs
  • Negotiating with clients and other professionals to secure agreed objectives
  • Coordinating the work of all parties involved
  • Corresponding with clients and opposing solicitors
  • Working in a busy team, referring cases to relevant partner as required
  • Arranging and attending further client meetings where necessary to progress with the case and finalise documentation
  • Keep up to date with changes and developments in the law by undertaking a range of CPD activities throughout career
  • Manage a high-volume caseload as delegated by the work allocation team
  • Provide excellent client service to ensure the values of the firm are being always represented
Requirements
  • Have extensive knowledge and experience in residential conveyancing law.
  • Be well organised and attentive to detail
  • Have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise large workloads
  • Have good communication skills
  • Work effectively on own as well as with other team members
  • Comfortable with common Microsoft programmes including Outlook, Word and Excel.
