Antitrust, Competition & Trade Associate

Overview

We are currently working on this interesting role with a well‑known international law firm. The firm is seeking an ambitious Solicitor to join its growing Competition Team on a full‑time basis. This position can be based in either the firm’s Edinburgh or Glasgow office.

The role offers a balanced mix of transactional, contentious, and advisory work. Associates take on high responsibility and client contact from day one, including business development and cross‑border work with international offices and travel. The team seeks a balanced practice across its core areas, including mainstream antitrust compliance and investigations, trade work, public procurement, merger control, and subsidy control and regulation.

Interested candidates at the 2 to 8 years’ PQE level should ideally have training or experience in public procurement and competition law, along with a willingness to learn about subsidy control and the UK’s new subsidy control regime following Brexit.
