About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with deep experience in infrastructure data analysis, server lifecycle management and insights reporting. In this role you will transform complex infrastructure data into actionable intelligence that drives strategic decision‑making and operational excellence. You will analyse obsolescence risk across our server estate, build Power BI dashboards and support senior stakeholders with clear, compelling insights.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct detailed infrastructure data analysis, identifying patterns, risks and opportunities across server estates and platforms.
- Lead on server obsolescence treatment, including data capture, assessment, reporting and remediation recommendations.
- Ensure technical change readiness, meeting testing criteria and validating change success across stakeholders.
- Perform data analysis and validation from multiple technical sources to guarantee reporting accuracy and data quality.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytical reports that provide actionable insights for leadership teams.
- Translate complex technical data into clear, concise, engaging dashboards for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Engage effectively with stakeholders across Infrastructure, Architecture, Security and Delivery teams to gather requirements and align priorities.
- Support strategic decision‑making by preparing evidence‑based business cases, data summaries and risk analyses.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes, documentation and reporting pipelines.
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably in an infrastructure or technology‑heavy environment.
- Strong background in analytical data work, including mining, cleansing, correlation and interpretation.
- Hands‑on experience with server lifecycle or obsolescence management and understanding of supporting technologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX and dashboard development.
- Ability to convert complex datasets into meaningful insights and communicate findings clearly.
- Excellent stakeholder management, with experience working across multi‑disciplinary technical teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable working independently, managing priorities and delivering high‑quality outputs to deadlines.
- Knowledge of infrastructure components such as servers, storage, networking and operating systems.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation tools used for data extraction and transformation.
- Experience working within ITIL‑aligned environments or infrastructure transformation programmes.
