Overview
Principal Network Engineer - Global Fintech (Remote, UK). Are you a Palo Alto and Juniper expert ready to shape the future of technical operations at a high-growth fintech?
We are partnering with a global leader in payments technology to build a modern, secure, and scalable infrastructure from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to own architecture decisions, drive cloud migration, and lead network innovation across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem environments.
Responsibilities- Deep hands-on experience with Palo Alto NGFW & Panorama (TLS decryption, Prisma Access, Global Protect, etc.)
- Strong Juniper networking background (EVPN, VXLAN, VRFs, Junos OS)
- Proven success in hybrid cloud networking and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
- 10+ years in enterprise network/system design, 5+ years in technical leadership
- Bonus: PCNSE, JNCIP, cloud certs, DR planning, and monitoring/forensics experience.
- High-impact role in a small, agile team
- Culture of experimentation and continuous learning

Important: Palo Alto and Juniper experience is essential. Cisco-only backgrounds typically aren't the right fit.
