A growing business that is looking to drive real digital transformation in one of Scotland’s most historic industries is looking for a Microsoft Digital Solutions Specialist to join the team on a 12-month fixed term contract, with potential to be extended to 24-months.

What you’ll be doing as Microsoft Digital Solutions Specialist:
You’ll be at the heart of their transformation; you’ll help shape, build, and govern Microsoft‑based solutions across M365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Azure, turning complexity into clarity and delivering the foundations of a truly data‑driven organisation. From modernising SharePoint architecture to deploying secure‑by‑design cloud capabilities, you’ll help establish a single source of truth that empowers smarter, faster decisions across the business.

You’ll craft low‑code apps that eliminate manual processes, build governed data pipelines that unlock operational insights, and strengthen their security posture with tools such as Purview, Entra , Intune, and Defender.

What they’re looking for in a Microsoft Digital Solutions Specialist:
Someone who can blend technical depth with practical delivery — someone who understands how to translate business needs into scalable Microsoft solutions. You’ll bring strong experience in M365 administration and governance, SharePoint expertise, Power Apps / Power Automate experience, and familiarity with Azure and Power BI.

Essential:

Proven experience supporting digital transformation and technology change within a business environment.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform including administration and architecture (SharePoint Online, Teams, One Drive, Exchange Online)
Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) solution design
Power BI (DAX or Power Query)
Microsoft Fabric
Security / Compliance in Azure;
Entra , Intune, Defender, and Purview
Experience working collaboratively with business analysts and cross-functional teams.
Stakeholder management experience and engagement across an organisation
