What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensuring reliable and high levels of system operations through monitoring and response to incidents.
• Leveraging automation including Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management to continually improve our processes and service operations targets.
• Sharing knowledge with other engineers within the team to ensure best practices are followed.
• Contributing to embedding an agile mindset and approach focused on improving outcomes.

We need you to have

• Good communication skills.
• Thrives on solving problems.
• Tackling problems creatively.
• Passion for learning and self-development.

Understanding or experience in the following is preferential

• Experience in Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience in AWS (EC2, RDS, IAM, S3).
• Experience with scripting (Python, Power Shell, Groovy).

And if you have any of these, even better

• Containerisation experience (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• IBM MQ, IBM Connect Direct, IBM Sterling File Gateway, IBM Secure Proxy.
• Knowledge of SAFe and/or Agile practices.
