Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of large technical programmes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Partner with the Head of Technology and senior stakeholders to shape and deliver the technology roadmap.
  • Manage cross‑functional teams including software engineers, architects, analysts, and third‑party vendors.
  • Establish and maintain robust programme governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication frameworks.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and issues across multiple work streams.
  • Ensure adherence to delivery frameworks including Agile, Prince2, and ITIL.
  • Oversee transition to operational teams, ensuring effective handover, documentation, and training.
  • Champion continuous improvement in delivery practices, tooling, and team performance.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical programme or project management, ideally within financial services or other regulated sectors.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering enterprise‑scale applications and infrastructure programmes using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Dev Ops, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
  • Experience managing third‑party suppliers and offshore delivery teams.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and service delivery frameworks.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, Prince2, Agile Scrum Master/Product Owner).
