Data Product Manager

• Own the roadmap and continuous improvement of internal data management tools.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to enhance our data capabilities.
• Work with engineering to optimize pipelines for performance, reliability and cost-efficiency.
• Lead initiatives to improve data consistency, interoperability and quality across systems.

• Identify and evaluate new data sources to enrich our products.
• Collaborate and align with the research and modelling teams to balance their needs with external clients.
• Develop a strategy and roadmap for developing new data sources and enhancing existing ones based on creating new value to clients.

• Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to translate data needs into product requirements.
• Advocate for data best practices and drive adoption of data products across the organization.
• Partnering with stakeholders across departments to ensure schema alignment with business needs and technical constraints.

• Define success metrics for data products and tooling.
• Monitor usage, performance, and impact, and iterate based on feedback and insights.

We are a hybrid working company and the successful applicant will be expected to be present in the office at least two days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment, but this may be subject to change in the future. Due to the global nature of the team, a degree of flexible working will be required to accommodate different time zones.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with and align a wide range of stakeholders around a shared vision: product, research, data, engineering and senior leadership.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally in data or platform-focused role.
• Familiarity with data pipelines and customer-facing data applications.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex data problems.

• Experience with APIs, SQL, Jupyter Notebook.
• Background in software engineering or data engineering, including experience with graph
  
  QL, Snowflake, Typescript, React
  
  JS is a plus.
• Background in the power, renewables or energy industry is a plus.
