Senior HR Consultant (Pay, Benefits & Pensions)

Salary: £46,023 - £54,476

Hours:

36 per week, 52 weeks (working pattern: Monday to Friday)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior HR Consultant to play a key role within our Payroll, Benefits & pension Team to manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant salary payments for all staff and all 3rd party payments. This is an exciting opportunity available within our HR Payroll, Benefits & Pension team as we are recruiting for 1 permanent position.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a specialist team of Payroll, Benefits & Pension specialists to ensure delivery of payroll/benefit services and operations to employees, managers and external customers.
  • Support the ongoing development of services, including the benefits platform, and provision to colleagues to drive continuous improvement.
  • Deliver regulatory compliance with statutory bodies through robust controls and measures, whilst also fulfilling high levels of accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Support wider HR projects and initiatives that support the Council's strategic objectives.
Requirements
  • Strong customer focus and flexible approach with the ability to work in a demanding deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience in payroll, benefits, and pension operations and compliance.
