Contract: 12‑month Fixed Term Contract
Our client, a major UK utilities organisation, is looking to bring on an experienced mid-senior Employee Relations Consultant on a 12‑month fixed term basis to strengthen its Employee and Industrial Relations capability.
The role will support a complex, unionised environment, with a strong focus on ER/IR advisory work, collective bargaining arrangements, and effective engagement with joint trade unions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice across a broad range of employee relations and industrial relations matters
- Support and contribute to collective bargaining processes, pay negotiations, and formal consultations
- Work closely with HR and senior stakeholders to manage complex and sensitive ER cases
- Build and maintain constructive relationships with trade union representatives
- Ensure ER activity is compliant with employment legislation, internal policy, and best practice
