Duty Manager - Nightclub, Edinburgh
Salary: £30,000
Hours:
42 per week, 5 days over 7 (mix of day & night shifts)

Blue Arrow is proud to be recruiting for a dedicated and dynamic Duty Manager to join a thriving nightclub in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
About the Role
As Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day running of the venue. You'll be responsible for supervising staff, supporting guest relations, and ensuring smooth and efficient operations throughout each shift. Your leadership will help maintain high standards of service, safety, and venue presentation.
We're looking for someone who brings strong leadership, a commitment to quality, and the confidence to manage a busy late‑night venue.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations to ensure compliance with company standards and policies
Lead, motivate, and support team members to deliver outstanding guest service
Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence
Assist in training new staff on procedures and customer service standards
Manage staff schedules and monitor performance to ensure productivity
Implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and encourage repeat visits
Carry out daily opening and closing duties
Skills & Experience
Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising teams in a hospitality environment
Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences
Knowledge of HR practices relating to recruitment, training, and employee relations is beneficial
Hospitality experience is essential
Experience in a late‑night venue is preferred
Flexibility to work late nights and weekends
