Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic catering environment? This hands-on, customer-facing role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and ideally a background in catering or hospitality.
What Youll Be Doing- Serving meals, snacks, and refreshments to students, staff, and visitors
- Supporting a variety of events including weddings, conferences, and corporate functions
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Operating tills
- Preparing and serving barista-style drinks
- Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations
- Youll work a range of daily 7-hour shifts between 7:30am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday; may include evenings and weekends on a 5 over 7 contract with notice
- Flexibility to work at other campuses to meet departmental needs
- Experience in catering or food service in a busy environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High standards of personal hygiene and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to cover holidays, absences, and special events
- Barista training or willingness to learn
- Minimum of 41 days annual leave (including 10 fixed holidays) and option to purchase additional leave
- Employer pension contributions of 17.6%
