As part of The Scotsman Group, you will be joining Scotland’s largest and most diverse hospitality collective, with a portfolio of over 40 unique venues across the country.
The RoleAs our Meetings & Events Operations Manager, you are the conductor of the orchestra. You will oversee the seamless execution of a diverse calendar, ranging from high‑stakes corporate conferences and elegant weddings to intimate social gatherings and milestone birthdays.
This isn’t just about logistics; it’s about leadership. You will work hand‑in‑hand with the General Manager and the M&E Sales Manager to drive commercial growth, spearhead service‑improvement projects, and ensure every guest experiences the “wow” factor.
Key Responsibilities- Team leadership:
Brief, inspire, and organise floor and bar teams to ensure everyone knows their role in delivering perfection. - Operational excellence:
Oversee the meticulous set‑up, transitions, and breakdown of all event spaces. - Guest experience:
Act as the face of the department, providing professional, friendly, and efficient service throughout the event lifecycle. - Strategic collaboration:
Build strong ties with the General Manager to enhance productivity and refine the customer journey. - Project management:
Lead initiatives to elevate our product offerings and stay ahead of industry trends.
