Reservations Agent

Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Reservations Agent with a passion for service excellence. You will report to the Reservations Manager, supporting and working toward providing our guests with memorable experiences of the city.

• Receive lodging booking requests and enquiries daily via telephone, email and chat, handling them in a professional and efficient manner.
• Ensure accurate information is entered into the PMS for bookings.
• Manage all enquiries in accordance with company standards and procedures.
• Understand and exhibit a clear and comprehensive knowledge of the hotel, facilities and local area to exceed guests' expectations when booking.
• Respond to and deal with enquiries through all channels within specified time limits.
• Work toward maximising revenue through up‑selling and cross‑selling.
• Effectively communicate with other departments.
• Perform other reasonable duties as directed by management.

• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Hospitality-related qualification preferred but not essential.
• Opera PMS experience desirable; full training given.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous experience handling customer complaints/requests desired.
