As a Hospitality Supervisor you would work closely with your Manager on site in one of our iconic venues, supporting the operations team, talented chefs and target-driven sales people to deliver flawless service and exceptional food and drinks.

The Catering team will build strong relationships with their clients, understand briefs, and execute every detail with continuous quality and a human touch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    Provide leadership and guidance to catering staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Event Coordination:
    Support coordinated aspects of catering events, including setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring adherence to client specifications and company standards.
  • Customer Service:
    Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and supporting catering orders.
  • Sales:
    Use initiative to maximise sales, and provide customers with appropriate knowledge of food items sold.
  • Quality Control:
    Oversee food presentation, ensure quality and consistency, adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, keep catering areas and service counters clean and stocked, and monitor stock across ambient, chilled and hot service points to align with Baxter Storey health & safety guidelines.
  • Cost Management:
    Monitor catering expenses, including labor, supplies, and equipment, and implement cost-saving measures where applicable.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and local ordinances at all catering locations.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Other Duties:
    Assist in stocktaking as required and communicate with the service management team to ensure replenishment orders are placed in a timely and efficient manner.
