We’re looking for a behind‑the‑scenes hero to keep the kitchen sparkling and running smooth at The Hoxton
, Edinburgh. Reporting to the Back of House Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring a clean workspace and maintaining high standards in the kitchen and back of house areas.

We’ve opened our doors in Edinburgh’s charming West End – our first Hox in Scotland. Set across 11 beautiful Georgian townhouses, we’re home to 214 bedrooms, a lively open lobby and bar, an all‑day Italian trattoria Patatino, a retro‑inspired cinema, a flexible and super‑size event space called The Get Together, and The Apartment – our unique signature spot for meetings, private dinners and memorable gatherings.

What You’ll Do
  • Help the kitchen operate at lightning speed.
  • Keep the kitchen spic and span with rubber gloves on.
  • Ensure the back‑of‑house and pass are set up correctly and kept tidy.
  • Maintain clean food‑preparation sites.
  • Unload deliveries and keep storage organised.
  • Clean cutlery, tableware, equipment, utensils, walls, ventilation, etc. daily.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.
  • Maintain health & safety and food‑safe working area.
  • Follow company guidelines for refuse storage and removal.
  • Safely open and close designated culinary areas.
  • General maintenance of all culinary areas and equipment.
