Role Banks of support worker opportunities:
Bank Support Worker (Days and sleepovers available) in Juniper Green, Edinburgh. We’re looking for a Female Support Worker to join our friendly team and support two wonderful young ladies who share their own home in the Juniper Green area of Edinburgh. These ladies have learning disabilities and Autism and enjoy theatre trips, music, dancing, clothes shopping, holidays, swimming, and trying new activities.

Role
- You’ll be part of a diverse, supportive team helping the ladies live happy, safe, and fulfilling lives.
- Responsibilities may include: supporting with medication, cooking and meal preparation, assisting with personal care, helping maintain their home, and supporting with finances.
We provide support 24/7, so flexibility is key. Typical shifts include:
- 9am – 11pm, followed by a sleepover, then working until 2pm the next day
- 9am – 4pm
- 2pm – 10pm
We are seeking flexible bank staff who are available to work a variety of shifts, ideally including some weekend work.

Sometimes the people we support really need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a female colleague is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010.
We are passionate about our people and every year we invest heavily in our front-line worker pay, in line with the Living Wage increase each April. This means that from 1st April 2026, our pay rate for this role will be increasing to £13.86 per hour.
