Assistant Practitioner positions are available for unregistered nurses working across Lothian. You will support families with children who have Exceptional Health Care Needs, providing high quality, consistent and continuous care and helping families live as normal a life as possible.

• Deliver person-focused care to children and young people with exceptional health care needs.
• Support families in managing technology-dependent and chronic conditions of their children.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, safe and effective care.
• Assist with education and training for carers and family members.

• Unregistered nurse with relevant experience in paediatric or chronic care settings.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights and weekends.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to NHS values of safety, compassion, and effective care.

• Full time and part time hours available (to be discussed at interview).
• Shift pattern: days, nights and weekends.
