We’re looking for a passionate and forward‑thinking Band 7 Physiotherapy Team Lead to join our vibrant Pan Lothian Community Neurological Rehabilitation Team. Our service plays a vital role in supporting people with neurological conditions to live well in their homes and communities. You’ll help individuals move safely out of hospital, access specialist clinics, and work towards goals that matter to them — all while living the NHS values of compassion, respect, and improving lives.
To meet the persons needs the model is delivered flexibly, with clinics, virtual and domiciliary based activity.
In this role, you’ll provide operational and strategic leadership for our neurological community physiotherapy service, supported by our experienced Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners and working closely with the wider MDT and Service Lead.
Your leadership will help ensure we deliver high‑quality, person‑centred, and equitable care.
It is essential you have a Degree in Physiotherapy with relevant post graduate clinical and leadership knowledge, experience, and skills. As this is a leadership role you should have excellent communication skills and be able to lead a team. Whilst other options will be considered, to meet the service needs the preferred hours of working are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday AM.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record.
