Support Worker, Home Care

Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and professional Support Professional to provide high quality, person centred support to individuals with a range of needs. The role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing while supporting individuals to live fulfilling and meaningful lives within their community.

• Provide person centred support in line with individual care and support plans
• Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household duties (where required)
• Support individuals to access the community, attend appointments, and engage in social and recreational activities
• Promote independence, choice, and inclusion at all times
• Build positive, professional relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues
• Maintain accurate records and report any concerns in line with company policies
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality procedures
• Work collaboratively as part of a wider support team

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
• Basic literacy and IT skills for record keeping
• Commitment to equality, diversity, and person centred care

• Previous experience in a support, care, or health related role
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Health & Social Care certification)
• Full UK driving licence
