Reference Specialist Dietitian Community Enteral Nutrition Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Dietitian with postregistration experience to join our Community Enteral Nutrition Team (CENT) based at the Astley Ainslie Hospital in Edinburgh.

You will play a key role in delivering high quality dietetic care to adult patients receiving home enteral tube feeding across Lothian. This is a community-based role involving visits to patients’ homes and care homes, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, carers, and families to optimise nutritional care for those receiving enteral feeding.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide specialist dietetic assessment and management for adults on home enteral feeding
  • Deliver care in community settings including patient homes and care homes
  • Participate in the training and supervision of student dietitians
  • Contribute to the professional development and supervision of dietetic colleagues
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive, experienced multidisciplinary team
What We’re Looking For
  • HCPC registered Dietitian with relevant postregistration clinical experience
  • Experience or interest in enteral nutrition and community-based care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload
  • Commitment to high quality, patient-centred care
