Band 7 | 1.0 WTE | 37 hours | 12 months Fixed Term/Secondment
£50,861 – £59,159 per annum (includes weekend, late night and public holiday commitment)
AboutThe Role
Play a key role in delivering high-quality services within the GI, Renal, Liver, Transplant and Vascular (GIRLTV) pharmacy team.
- Work alongside the vascular surgery team, where pharmacists have an established non‑medical prescribing role.
- Work closely with members of the multidisciplinary teams to provide high‑quality patient care.
- Have valued input into the daily consultant‑led ward rounds.
- Work with the pharmacy team delivering clinical pharmacy services to GIRLTV specialties.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the clinical pharmacy service in the face of emerging challenges around site capacity and patient flow.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist with a passion for delivering exceptional clinical care.
Essential Qualifications And Experience- Master of Pharmacy Degree (or equivalent).
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Completed training or equivalent competence mapped to the RPS Post‑Registration Foundation Pharmacist Curriculum.
- Experience in proactively influencing prescribing, using clinical knowledge to optimise patient care.
- A strong patient‑focused approach, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, enabling effective decision‑making in an acute medical setting.
- A proactive attitude, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
