key duties & responsibilities- record and maintain accurate client records on our back-office system and ensure all client communications are recorded.
- prepare, process and monitor the delivery of new and existing client work, ensuring clients always receive high quality service.
- prepare the necessary client packs and documentation ahead of all meetings.
- liaise with product and investment providers and collate information accordingly.
- ensure the planners, and clients, are updated regularly and in a timely manner throughout the client journey.
- review client files upon completion of business.
- work to target key performance indicators / service level agreements.
- actively promote ideas and suggestions and participate in all business improvements as part of the firm’s commitment to continuous improvement.
- adhere to regulatory conduct rules and understand professional ethics and the firm’s methods and standards of working.
- certificate in financial services (cert cii (fs)) – units r01 & lp2 (minimum/working towards)
- working towards cii diploma in regulated financial planning (dippfs)
- previous experience of working in a similar role
- experience of working to tight deadlines
- knowledge of microsoft outlook, word, excel, power point and relevant software packages
- working knowledge of relevant legislation and industry best practice
- knowledge of financial products and plans
- excellent organisational skills
- strong communication skills – both written and oral
- excellent attention to detail
- problem solving skills
- ability to have the client at the heart of what we do
- good team player with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
- ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines
- self‑motivated, with an ability to develop ideas into practice
