A UK-based private finance team is seeking an experienced ABL Portfolio and Relationship Manager to join their team remotely. This role focuses on managing asset-based lending portfolios, overseeing client relationships, and supporting workout processes.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in banking or asset-based lending
• Strong knowledge of collateral management and financial statement analysis
• Experience with liquid workouts; collect out experience is a plus
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and complex portfolios
• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic, remote, and entrepreneurial environment

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor ABL portfolios, including risk assessment and covenant compliance
• Analyze financial statements, collateral positions, and client performance
• Lead and support liquid workouts and recovery processes
• Collaborate with internal teams to structure, execute, and oversee transactions
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with borrowers, intermediaries, and other stakeholders
• Provide insights and recommendations for portfolio optimization and risk mitigation
