Opportunity

We're looking for an Audit Analyst at Tesco Insurance and Money Services. In the role of Audit Analyst you'll develop skills and experience to support the Audit team. This role has potential to be a development role working towards a professional qualification and future move into the performance and management of Audit. It is well suited to recent graduates looking to develop their career into the Audit / Data Analytics field.

This

will include
  • Maintaining the operational MI used to manage the Audit function.
  • Contributing to reports provided to Tesco Insurance and Money Services Executive and Board.
  • Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of the Internal Audit risk assessment and planning cycle.
  • Coordinating the Risk & Control Self-Assessment
  • Contributing to the enhanced use of Data Analytics within Internal Audit.
The Role
  • Extract relevant data from information provided by others, and input it into spreadsheets or standard formats, including supporting the department in monitoring the status of the audit plan on a timely basis.
  • Extract simple/automatic data in various forms (graphs, charts, etc.) to include in reports.
  • Prepare moderately complex documents using a variety of computer applications such as Microsoft Office. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.
  • Use the Audit Management tool to access specific information.
  • Support Audit stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings and events. Build effective relationships across the audit function to enable timely and effective information gathering to support department reporting.
We need you to have
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience extracting relevant data from information.
And if you have any of these, even better
  • Power BI / Visual Basic experience would be beneficial.
  • Graduate or similar (Audit / Data Analytics)
  • Comfortable with data manipulation tools.
