The role requires you to lead the statistical testing of the models and report on the technical findings in a clear and transparent way.

How you ll make a difference

Leading a small team of people, you will be responsible for effectively leading the validation of the components of Credit & Financial Risk models, following our internal framework and standards as well as external regulation. You will produce internal and external reports summarising the validations, highlighting areas for potential improvement. You will support senior management in their interactions across the business and externally.

You will be able to influence, and build relationships with, a range of stakeholders from within Risk and the wider TSB Business. 9.
  • Capability to understand complex issues, communicate with clarity and provide information to senior leaders including Directors and Heads of Function.
  • Ability to lead, inspire and develop individuals and create high performing teams to deliver model validations.
  • Be recognised by your stakeholders as providing excellent technical and regulatory knowledge – building on the strong reputation of the Model Risk Oversight team within TSB.
