iMultiply is delighted to be working on an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a leading professional services firm. This is a key role within the private client and trusts team, offering responsibility for managing financial activities for a portfolio of clients and overseeing a small team.
The OpportunityAs Finance Manager, you will take ownership of accounts preparation for a variety of trusts (including family and charitable trusts) and manage financial operations for private clients. You'll lead a team of 3‑4, ensuring high‑quality output and compliance with best practice standards. This role combines technical accounting expertise with client‑facing responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and finalise periodic financial statements and annual trust and estate accounts.
- Oversee cash management services for personal clients and trusts.
- Maintain accurate records of trust balances, income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
- Act as lead contact for clients, liaising with trustees, beneficiaries, solicitors, banks, and HMRC.
- Provide regular financial reports and analysis to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve internal controls.
- Mentor and develop team members to deliver high‑quality outputs.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field desirable.
- Professional accounting qualification (ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CTA, or STEP) preferred.
- Previous management experience strongly desirable.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Quick Books, CCH Trust Accounts) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

- Full‑time, permanent role (Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm).
- 25 days annual leave plus 8 public holidays per annum (increasing with length of service) and option to buy/sell up to 5 days at the beginning of each financial year.
