The team works on a diverse portfolio of projects including residential developments, commercial buildings, refurbishments, and mixed-use schemes. The Structural Engineer role;
We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join an Edinburgh office. You will work as part of a supportive team delivering structural designs from concept through to construction across a variety of residential and commercial projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to take ownership of projects, develop technical expertise, and progress their career within a dynamic consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities of this Structural Engineer role;
Structural design and analysis of residential and commercial buildings using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
Preparing structural calculations, reports, and drawings
Working closely with architects, contractors, and other consultants
Attending design team meetings and site visits
Supporting the delivery of projects from initial concept through to completion
Ensuring designs meet current codes, standards, and project requirements
About You;
Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
2-6 years' relevant design experience within a consultancy environment (preferred)
Experience working on residential and/or commercial building structures
Familiarity with UK design standards and Eurocodes
Experience with structural analysis software (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, ETABS or similar)
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Working towards Chartership with ICE or IStruct
