- Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings using tools such as Solid Works, CATIA, CREO, or AutoCAD.
- Conduct design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
- Create and maintain product documentation, including BOMs, drawings, and technical reports.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (electrical, manufacturing, quality, and procurement) to ensure design feasibility and compliance with standards.
- Perform prototype testing and design validation.
- Support product lifecycle activities, including design changes, cost reduction, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and reliability requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors for component design and manufacturability feedback
