A growing structural steel contractor based in Edinburgh is looking to recruit an experienced Tekla Detailer
. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team delivering commercial and industrial steel projects across Scotland.

You will play a key role in producing accurate 3D Tekla models and detailed fabrication drawings, supporting the smooth delivery of steelwork from design to fabrication.

• Produce detailed Tekla 3D models for structural steel projects
• Prepare accurate fabrication and assembly drawings
• Coordinate with design engineers and project teams to ensure model accuracy
• Identify and resolve clashes or design issues in Tekla
• Support project teams with technical information and detailing guidance
• Maintain accurate records and drawings for fabrication and site installation
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications

• Proven experience as a Tekla Detailer within the structural steel industry (essential)
• Strong knowledge of structural steel detailing and fabrication processes
• Ability to produce high-quality Tekla models and drawings
• Good understanding of technical drawings and structural specifications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated and able to manage workload effectively
