Your mission as the Field Service Engineer is to provide expert services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. You will

• You will be working as part of a regional service team, providing 24/7 emergency cover as part of a rota
• Completing scheduled Planned Preventive Maintenance in a specified time at hospital site

What your day will look like:

• Liaising with the service office and customer to plan daily and weekly visit schedules
• Working unsupervised, using own initiative to carry out laid down tasks.
• Identification of additional works such as manifold and plant installations, completing short form tenders (quotations)
• Control of stock and administration, timesheets, parts order forms, quotations, expenses etc.
• Commissioning of new systems as required.
• Be aware of, and apply, Health and Safety regulations during daily tasks
• Maintaining test instruments, to ensure they remain in good condition

• Time serves apprentice in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with City & Guilds qualification, minimum parts 1 & 2
• A sound knowledge of compressors / vacuum pumps
• Be self driven with a clear focus on high quality.
• Competent and confident,reliable and an empathetic communicator
• A full UK driving licence
