Analog Devices is seeking an experienced Staff Analog/Mixed‑Signal Design Engineer with proven experience in clock synthesizers design. This role offers the opportunity to work on high‑performance consumer audio products within a collaborative, diverse, and knowledge‑sharing environment. It is an ideal position to perfect design skills and work within the design team to influence architecture decisions at the system level.
Responsibilities- Lead architecture definition of clock synthesizers to achieve high performance audio processing
- Work with the analog team to execute designs from abstract level down to transistor level
- Provide guidance and instructions for layout implementation, bench evaluation and production test to ensure successful delivery of the design
- Actively participate in bench evaluation with support from evaluation team
- Communicate effectively design choices, performance and progress
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership for junior engineers
- Electronic Engineering/Computer Engineering degree with 5+ years of progressive experience in architecting and designing clock synthesizers (PLL, FLL, MDLL, ADPLL)
- Experience in clock performance analysis (PSS/Pnoise)
- Hands‑on experience on low power design of relevant clock synthesis block such as VCO, loop filter, phase detectors
- Proficient with Spectre simulation tools or equivalent and behavioral/system‑level modeling tools
- Good understanding of semiconductor device physics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within multi‑site, cross‑functional engineering teams
- Experience with bench clock analysis tools
- Good understanding of signal processing such as data‑converter and DSP
- Experience in audio IC design
- Passion for Audio
