• Qualified to degree level or similar
• Experience in bid writing within civil engineering, construction, infrastructure or equivalent sectors involving complex technical bids and formal procurement processes
• Excellent written English, and proofreading skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent communication, and presentation skills
• Office 365 proficiency, particularly MS Word, PowerPoint, Adobe
• Proven ability to absorb, analyse and structure complex information, identify and articulate win strategies

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Bid Writer to support the development of high-quality, compelling submissions for major engineering bids within our Infrastructure sector. This is a pivotal role within our work‑winning team, responsible for translating complex technical information into clear, persuasive content that showcases our capability, innovation, and value proposition.

• Developing, writing and editing technical responses and evidence for complex projects
• Conducting answer planning and writing workshops as required, managing inputs from a wide range of sources and stakeholders
• Interviewing technical, operational, and business function experts to transform drafts into clear and persuasive customer‑focused responses
• Ensuring completion of all responses to internal / external deadlines
• Supporting win strategy workshops
• Supporting the enhancement of company work‑winning libraries and bid content
• Sharing knowledge and best practice across the business, contributing to lessons learned and continuous improvement
