Assistant Electrical Engineer

Candidates are required have a BSc and/or MSc in Electrical or Building Services Engineering and have vast experience completing electrical designs for building services, ideally commercial developments using Revit, DIAlux or Amtech.

It is beneficial for applicants live locally and have a keen interest in electrical design and site visits with contractors, designers and clients to discuss project specifications and designs at sites across the region.  

Candidates will be required to reside locally to work on a hybrid basis, from the office, home and regional sites.

As an Assistant Electrical Engineer, you will join a supportive team based in Edinburgh to complete sustainable electrical designs for building services for commercial and retail projects across the region using Revit, Amtech, DIAlux, Relux and AutoCAD.

You will also be required to check technical work and complete complex electrical designs for mixed use developments and educational facilities.  

You will also be expected to deliver projects to time and budget, meeting Clients expectations and assist with site visits to meet and coordinate between internal and external design teams, clients, architects and contractors to discuss sustainable design concepts.
