Electronics Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a growing technology company in Scotland. As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will design and develop advanced digital and mixed-signal electronics for high-performance communication applications. The role will involve schematic capture, PCB design, FPGA integration, and system validation, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver reliable and innovative solutions.

• Lead the design and development of digital and mixed-signal systems integrating FPGAs
• Undertake schematic capture, PCB design, and component selection
• Develop high speed digital electronics
• Support prototyping, bring-up, debugging, and validation in the lab
• Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and compliance activities

• Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong background in digital circuit design and PCB development
• Experience with simulation and lab testing tools
• FPGA design experience is ideal, but learning opportunities are available
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead technical projects
