    35 per week
  • Class: P3 (20 students) on a temporary fixed‑term contract until 26 Jun 2026

    South east of Edinburgh, part of the St. Thomas' cluster

School Overview

St Mark's RC Primary School hosts 158 students across 7 primary classes and a newest nursery opened in January 2023 providing 1,140 annual hours. Staff includes a Head Teacher, a Principal Teacher, 10 class teachers and 1 part‑time Additional Support for Learning Teacher, plus early‑years and support teams.

Responsibilities

Cover the P3 class of 20 on a temporary fixed‑term contract.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Seek approval of the Bishop of the Diocese for appointment to any post in a Catholic School.
  • Preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check. For those who have spent 3+ months outside the UK in the last 5 years, an overseas criminal record check is required and must be provided.
  • Unconditional offer and commencement subject to satisfactory outcome of both pre‑employment checks.
  • Meet the school’s minimum job criteria.
