The roleThe University of Edinburgh’s School of Economics is seeking to appoint to a faculty position at the rank of Lecturer (teaching and scholarship track) to:
- contribute to and manage the delivery and organisation of Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes in the School of Economics
- contribute to the School’s scholarship activities
Applicants should have, or be close to completing, a PhD in economics or related field, and have demonstrable potential to deliver high‑quality research‑led teaching and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations through being up to date of recent advances of knowledge in any area of economics. They will engage in scholarship activities, which includes research and knowledge exchange activities. Furthermore, they will also undertake further management and administrative duties commensurate with the role.
This post is a full‑time (35 hours per week), open‑ended post.
