The School of Engineering is seeking a highly organised, appointee to take responsibility for the administration of one section of its undergraduate teaching programme. The post holder will work as part of a busy and vibrant Teaching Organisational within the School, and will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to plan their own workload, and will be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Applicants must possess strong IT skills, including experience of Microsoft Word and Excel plus relevant work experience, ideally in an education‑related environment.
This position is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in University professional services, in a department with a proven commitment to training and staff development.
Your skills and attributes for success- Experience of using IT systems, software and databases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer‑focused attitude.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan own workload, and take into account the workloads of others.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail in both written and figure work.
