SEND Teaching Assistant - Bolton

Full Time | Start ASAP | Until July 2026 | £90-£110 per day

Aspire People are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Bolton.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, starting ASAP and continuing through to July 2026.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a KS1 setting (Year 1 & Year
  2)
• Support children with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language needs
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support plans
• Promote a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
• Monitor and track student progress

• Have previous experience supporting children with SEND
• Be patient, empathetic and adaptable
• Have strong behaviour management skills
• Be confident working both independently and as part of a team
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)

• Competitive daily rate of £90-£110 per day
• Full-time role with long-term stability until July 2026
