Position: Class Teacher (Primary 1)
Location: City of Edinburgh

Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are currently recruiting for a Classroom Teacher (Primary
1) to join the Junior School on a temporary basis from 13 April 2026 to 26 June 2026 (subject to satisfactory pre‑employment checks). The role is full time, term time, with a salary of £34,853 to £50,477. The role is based at the Ravelston site.

The purpose of the role is to provide a high standard of teaching and pastoral care for the pupils in the class.

The successful candidate must have experience working as a class teacher and registration with GTCS for Primary teaching.

ESMS is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants will therefore be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa.
