At Holy Cross RC Primary School, we value kindness, respect, and responsibility. We seek an energetic and collaborative Deputy Head Teacher to lead our nursery to P7 school, ensuring continuity of learning and fostering a joyful educational experience.

- Collaborate with colleagues to plan, evaluate, and adapt learning experiences to meet the needs of all pupils.

- Brings energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to their teaching.
- Demonstrates flexibility and a collaborative approach to working across year groups.
- Has a passion for inspiring young learners and helping them reach their full potential.
- Shares our commitment to continuous improvement and reflective practice.
- Is able to secure approval from the Bishop of a Diocese for appointment to any post in a Catholic School in the area.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of three months or more abroad in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
The offer of employment and commencement in the post will depend on satisfactory completion of these checks.
Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
