Fletcher Joseph are seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our recently rebranded Edinburgh studio.
We are looking for someone with strong design sensibility, solid technical experience and a collaborative mindset. This role offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic studio environment, gain exposure to project leadership, and help shape our growing interior design offer across the UK.
You will work across hospitality, multi-residential and commercial projects, supporting the development of brand standards, interior strategies and detailed design packages. As part of our integrated architecture and interiors team, you will play a key role in delivering projects from early concept through to completion.
You will hold a degree-level qualification in Interior Design (or related discipline) and have a proven track record within a design practice. We’re looking for someone confident in taking responsibility for packages of work, coordinating with consultants and suppliers, and contributing to the smooth delivery of projects.
You will be self-motivated, organised and comfortable working as part of a team to meet deadlines efficiently. Experience in hospitality, multi-residential or commercial interiors is essential, and familiarity with refurbishment or heritage settings would be advantageous.
Key attributes:
- Strong design and technical skills, with experience delivering interior packages from concept to detailed design
- Ability to develop and maintain brand standards, FF&E strategies and material palettes
- Confident in producing drawings, schedules and presentation material to a high standard
- Experienced in coordinating with architects, consultants, suppliers and contractors
- Ability to balance design intent, technical requirements and project constraints
- Strong visual communication skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. Revit experience is desirable.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to a positive studio culture
- Experience in hospitality, multi‑residential or commercial sectors (essential)
