Registered Dental Nurse; SNIS

Overview

NHS Lothian Oral Health Service invites applications for a full-time, fixed-term Registered Dental Nurse (SNIS). This one-year post is based within the Edinburgh Dental Institute and the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People, serving across the Pan-Lothian region.

• Provide efficient and effective support to the dental team within the Oral Health Service.

• Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) and be able to provide the registration number on application.
• Confident, enthusiastic team player with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

• Hours:
  
  37 per week
• Band 4
• Fixed Term MAT Leave for 9 Months

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. A Disclosure Scotland check may be required where applicable. Participation in public holiday shifts to support unscheduled care services is included and compensated in line with Agenda for Change. If there are changes to criminal records checks or PVG requirements, these will be confirmed by the Hiring Manager or Recruitment Team.
